FormatLab provides free, browser-based digital utilities designed to convert, compress, resize, edit, and organize image and PDF files. The service operates locally within your client browser software without requiring server transmission or account creation.

3. User Responsibility & File Ownership

You retain 100 percent full ownership and copyright of any images, documents, or content you choose to process using FormatLab. Because our systems do not store or copy your files, you are solely responsible for:

  • Maintaining original backup copies of all files prior to executing conversion or compression operations.
  • Ensuring that you possess the necessary legal rights, permissions, and licenses to manipulate the files you process.
  • Refraining from using the site to process unlawful, defamatory, or infringing materials in violation of relevant laws.

4. Disclaimer of Warranties

FormatLab and its underlying tools are provided strictly on an "as is" and "as available" basis without any express or implied warranties of any kind. While we rigorously test all algorithms for stability and fidelity, we do not guarantee that the tools will be uninterrupted, error free, or compatible with every possible hardware configuration or corrupted file variant.

5. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, in no event shall FormatLab, its maintainers, or its contributors be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or exemplary damages, including but not limited to loss of data, loss of business, or device malfunction resulting from the use or inability to use the service.
